New Colliers office and Michelin and Vaillant offices with awards at the Global Future Design Awards!

Our team has once again been recognised internationally, winning three awards in this year’s Global Future Design Awards 2025. Two Gold Awards were granted for the designs of Colliers’ new headquarters in Warsaw and Michelin office, and a Silver Award for BorgWarner office design.

The Global Future Design Awards is an international competition organised by the renowned industry portal, Architecture Press Release (APR). The awards honour projects that stand out not only for aesthetics and functionality but also for a responsible approach to the environment. The triple recognition for Colliers Define in this prestigious competition confirms that our design team ranks among the most innovative and environmentally conscious studios in Europe.

The new Colliers headquarters in The Form building in Warsaw was designed based on the “Newffice” concept, which redefines the approach to the work environment by combining flexible physical space, advanced technologies, and an organisational culture that supports hybrid work. “Newffice” also reflects a responsible design approach – the new headquarters features energy-efficient solutions, sustainable materials, and technologies that enable seamless remote work. Great emphasis was placed on employee well-being, ensuring access to natural light, ergonomic furniture, and greenery.

The office space is divided into two zones: client and employee, which complement each other. The first, inspired by a hotel lobby, encourages meetings, workshops, and events. The second meets the needs of various work styles, enabling teamwork, focused work, and coworking-style spaces. The office also serves as a showroom, where clients can experience what a modern, sustainable workspace looks like.

The new Colliers headquarters is not just a workplace but a reflection of our vision for the office of the future. We demonstrate that a space can simultaneously foster efficiency, well-being, and environmental responsibility, even in a hybrid model. Importantly, when designing work environments, we rely on solid data, apply a comprehensive approach to the entire fit-out process, and focus on the end result that truly supports companies’ business goals. We are proud that projects created in this spirit gain international recognition.

Michelin’s Warsaw office received a Gold Award in the Global Future Design Awards as a space that uniquely reflects the brand’s identity. The design combines Michelin’s recognisable visual motifs with ergonomics and work comfort, putting people at the centre. The open space and triangular desks allow flexible workstation arrangements and ensure user comfort.

The office promotes relaxation and integration – at its heart are swings that offer a momentary escape from daily duties, while a spacious coworking area connected to the kitchen supports collaboration and relationship building. Interiors feature soft, organic forms inspired by the round shapes of tyres. These motifs appear in the reception area, furniture, ceilings, and acoustic panels, creating a cohesive aesthetic.

The BorgWarner office design, awarded Silver, is a space where modern technologies meet natural materials and conscious design decisions. The project emphasises the company’s technological character while reflecting its commitment to sustainability and employee comfort. Instead of typical open-plan workspaces, smaller, quiet work zones were created.

The interior’s character is shaped by raw, deliberately exposed technical installations, a concrete illuminated reception desk, and details inspired by automotive design – including references to car lights – creating a coherent contrast between nature and modernity.

The main challenge was to plan a visually cohesive space that supports diverse work styles. Our design offers areas for focused work as well as meeting and teamwork zones. Flexible solutions were also considered – from smaller enclosed rooms to open common spaces equipped with boards and large tables for group work.

Three awards at the Global Future Design Awards are an important signal for us that our approach to designing workspaces combining aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability meets the real needs of modern organisations. Each awarded project shows that a well-designed office can support both work culture and business goals.
